Happy 2018!

Happy New Year, from all of us at TheAGSpot. Whatever you are doing….

Cleaning up after your New Year’s Eve party….

Putting away the last or your Christmas decorations….

Whether you are sound asleep because you stayed up until midnight last night…

Or are staring at your resolution wondering how you ever thought you could do it….

Here’s To Hoping Your New Year Is Awesome!

Letters From K//December

In case you need a refresher, here is Kit’s last letter.

Dear Kate,

Well…yes! I am! Hopefully we won’t overwhelm her when she arrives. All I know is that her name is Michelle Thomas. YES! Ellie does need more than  a dash of reality. I think she needs a thorough dousing of it! Elizabeth looks GORGEOUS on her horse, though! Starlight is a beautiful name!

I hope you had a merry Christmas, and I hope you will have an awesome new year. My sisters and I decorated our beautiful tree and had a sleepover in front of it on Christmas eve.

What did you get for Christmas?

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, my peppermints! I hope you are all having a wonderful day eating chocolate and opening presents. What did you get? How did you celebrate? Last night I went to midnight mass, woke up at 8:00 am and opened presents, one of which is an awesome photography set, and another of which is a family trip to Philadelphia!

One more thing;

Somebody arrived on the 24th via last minute mail.

My new doll! She needs a little TLC, but I am really pleased with her, and so grateful to my awesome Dad who helped me win the auction.

Doll Hat Review//Thank You, Anna!

DSCF7025Hello, peppermints! (I feel like my names for you all just keep getting weirder…oh, well.) Anna sent me a super awesome hat to review! Anna has an etsy shop called StitchesAndPictures, where she sells the coziest, cutest AG hats and sweaters around. She is a truly AMAZING knitter. So, on to the review!

We got mail!! Kit is excited to open it!

She’s ready with the scissors!

So the first thing I pulled out was this incredibly sweet note Anna sent me! Thank you, Anna! I will be pinning this on my bulletin board. 🙂

And now, the hat!

Oh. My. Goodness. It’s so cute and soft! I can’t wait to put it on Kit!

Ta-da! Kit looks SO cute and trendy in this. I l-o-v-e the color.

The hat is knitted in stockinette stitch (the ‘v’ stitch, for non-knitters) and the edge is ribbed. THE CUTENESS!!

”Thanks SO much, Anna! Bye, peppermints!”
