Clover and Quince|Photoshoot of Ella

Clover andQuince

Hello, there! Yesterday was beautiful and warm, so I decided to take a crack at a photoshoot I’ve been wanting to do for a while. I live on a semi-farm, and there are two large cornfields on my property. Every year, before the corn is planted, the fields are overrun my clover, just yards and yards of it, all over the field. To a doll, it’s almost like some kind of prairie, as it goes over her head. But enough chatter, I’ve been talking too much.

The red flowers in her her hair are called Quince, according to Wikipedia (and my Grandmother). Hence my alliterative title.

In case you’re wondering, I straightened Ella’s hair last weekend because it was frizzy. I may recurl it at some point, but it’s lovely straight, too. She reminds me of Grace Thomas with straight hair. Ella really does have a beautiful hair color, it’s different from June’s, which has blonde highlights and is lighter.

Speaking of June, she is now listed for sale here.

If any of you happen to be in the market for a new doll, or have fallen in love with June (like me), then definitely check it out.
